The technological needs of the Ministry of Defense and of the Brazilian Air Force in terms of remote sensing systems and techniques, geoprocessing, decision support systems, command and control are fulfilled by the Division of Geointelligence (EGI). These lines of research are carried on in two specific labs: the Laboratory for Calibration (LABCAL) and the Laboratory for Command and Control (LABC2).
